On our Production Sites

All our factories in France, UK and Spain are managed under ISO 9001 version 2000 rules.

Having been certified to ISO 9002 in 1994, the Florette Group was the first player in the fresh vegetables sector to obtain ISO 9001 certification in 1996. This certification ensures that all the Group’s activities, from product design to sale, meet the quality requirements of clients and all other partners of the Group. All our staff, including associated departments, is involved in this Quality initiative.

Product quality; product control and listening to the consumer

Our customers are the consumer. Florette is committed to ensuring them the very best salad by:

  • - Sorting raw materials
  • - Peeling by qualified teams
Our products’ organoleptic qualities are checked daily. In addition to telephone numbers or an address on the bag for contacting us, regular surveys are carried out to evaluate our regular consumer’s satisfaction.
A dynamic approach to food safety

All our locations are certified BRC or IFS version5.

  • - Florette is one of the pioneers that drew up the Good Practice Guide for the profession (the first recognized industrial guide) based on the HACCP method.
  • - The safety of our products is ensured through our process control and hygienic measures as well as by our strict compliance with the cold chain. Every production batch is controlled and “freed” to move on the next stage in the process. Finished products are subjected to a microbiological control plan based on risk control, and traceability is a major element in this control.
  • - BRC and IFS certifications are recognized throughout Europe.
Respect for the environment

Each factory has its own purification plant, and all packaging is manufactured from recycled materials. Finally, waste is sorted, and vegetable waste is sent for animal food.
Each country follows a policy of water and energy use reduction.
